Alleppey’s proximity to Cochin makes it an easy-to-reach destination. It is around 60 kms from Cochin in the south. If you are in Trivandrum, it will take you around 4 hours to reach here from road or rail.

Munnar and Thekkady are also nearby, with a five hours drive from each of these places.  Its nearest airport is in Cochin. It is well-connected with rail with Cochin and Trivandrum and many other Indian cities and towns. It is also well-connected to NH – 47, and also not very surprisingly by water!

Champakulam Church - One of the oldest churches in kerala, the St. Mary's Church is believed to be one of the seven established by St. Thomas. The annual feast at this church falls on the 3rd sunday of october every year.
